This Saturday night's live music features Utah resident and Lake Forest native, Tim Severns. Tim is the main lyricist/songwriter, singer, and harmonica player for the Timothy Hay Band. Tim began performing in small town saloons and ski town pubs in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Utah with a variety of blues, country, roots, bluegrass and rock ensembles. His new cd has just been released. Recorded at numerous locations, using a trove of musicians from all over the country and a variety of sources (including some tracks featuring Dave Seiger), The Timothy Hay Wreckerd! is a tribute to America’s rich musical tapestry and those who dedicate their lives adding to it.

Music is from 8pm to 11:30. Kitchen closes at 10pm, but drinks are served until midnight.

Bobby Rex  is part of the 50s - 60s band The Chauffeurs featuring Jimmy and Janice Hughes this summer. This Thursday from 6 to 9pm the Chauffers will be performing. More information on the location of the performance to follow. Bobby will be singing songs by Dion, Del Shannon, and Johnny Rivers.  Other artists covered will be Elvis, the Everly Brothers, Wilson Pickett, and the Temptations. Put on your dancing shoes for this one!

The Jim and Steve Band (the Polecastros) are now a trio with the addition of singer / guitarist Tony Mandolini.  Many requests taken from oldies to modern rock done acoustically.  If you like the sound of 12-string acoustic guitars playing the jangly hits that shaped rock and roll as we know it, then you should come out and see this night of musical entertainment.  No cover charge or minimum.  Kitchen open until 10pm. Drinks served until midnight.

Singer, songwriter, author, poet, and artist Ted Aliotta will be joined by guitarist and singer Rod Watson.  You'll hear some of the classics such as the single Lake Shore Drive which Ted co-wrote with Skip Hayes (with John Jeremiah on piano) along with other moving and evocative originals.  Rod (the human jukebox) makes the trek all the way up from the Bollingbrook area.  Restaurant and bar are open regular hours with drinks served until 1am.  No cover charge, but reservations may be required to guarantee a seat.  Other special guest musicians may be on hand to contribute.  Thanks for the memories guys!

Donna Herula is a Chicago born singer and guitarist who plays traditional classic, country and Delta blues.  Tony is a local singer songwriter.  Together they play a mix of acoustic blues, country, folk, pop and standards.  She plays fingerstyle and blues slide guitar on her 1930's Triolian and National Tricone resonator guitars.  During their performance you may hear some songs of the early blues women including Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith and Memphis Minnie in addition to songs by traditional musicians such as Robert Johnson, Robert Nighthawk, Furry Lewis and Blind Blake.  Donna has also been hard at work recording her newest cd soon to be for sale.  Start time is 8pm.  Dinner is served until 10pm.  No cover charge.  Bar is open until 1am.  Call for reservations.
