| Welcome back the Downhome Sophisticates from up Waukegan way. This 4 piece band consists of: singer/guitarist David Dallison, harmonica player Patrick Reninger, bassist Bill Taylor and guitarist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Chris Sipos. Combining the intimacy of a folk group, the improvisation of a jazz combo, and the energy of a rock or blues band, the Downhome Sophsticates are versatile performers who can excite an audience with a spirited concert or keep the dance floor crowded. Their sets nearly always include some classic soul or blues by Al Green or Muddy Waters, more contemporary selections by Tom Waits, Bob Dylan or Harry Connick Jr., and the occasional chestnut from the 21st century by the likes Gnarls Barkley, Weezer or Jack Johnson.
